Confusion with snakes
Dr. Allen adjusted his glasses and explained, “Legless lizards and snakes look similar, but the differences are great.” I listened intently and every detail made me even more curious. “Legless lizards have these tiny limbs or traces of them, while snakes don’t,” he continued. I stared at the creature, trying to make out what he was looking at. Despite their similar appearance, his explanation made the difference clear and helped me put the pieces of the puzzle together.
