The shock on Dr. Allen’s face awakened a wave of fear in me. The safety I had felt vanished as he examined the creature still in the ceramic pot. “Is there a problem?” I asked cautiously. He was silent for a few moments, staring at the strange animal. Finally, he turned to me and explained: “This could be more serious than it seems.
