To the examination room
Dr. Allen signaled for me to follow him and quickly led us through a side door into a more private exam room. “We need privacy to sort this out,” he said as he closed the door behind us. I nodded, feeling my curiosity overpower my remaining fear. The room was full of strange instruments, many of which I had never seen before. He beckoned me to sit down as he began to observe the creature more closely.
