Regrettably, despite what Child Protective Services said, another person with real control over Nadya’s life vehemently disagreed that her home was appropriate for her children. Her landlord didn’t like the idea and told Nadya that she had broken the terms of her contract. Furthermore, he informed the press about Nadya’s condition before evicting her and her 14 children. Nadya simply wanted to be a good mother to her children, but they were on the verge of being homeless, so she took drastic action.
