A Humble Life
Having fourteen children is no simple task, but Natalie Suleman seems to be succeeding. She actually rents a two-bedroom apartment, and her entire family lives paycheck to paycheck and on food stamps. Natalie told the Daily Mail that she now feels “at ease” after all of the challenges she faced raising so many children on her own, partially because she can use her story to empower and inspire people to make wise decisions. Natalie no longer likes being referred to as “Octomom,” and she admits, “I didn’t want to live.” To live and provide for my family, I felt less than human as the character I was pretending to be.”
