However, the recording did not come from a day at the beach. Johnny Moore was chosen as the lead singer when Rudy Lewis, the original singer of the song, died of a heroin overdose in his hotel room the night before the meeting.

‘I’m Eighteen’ – Alice Cooper
Cooper was another furry rock and roll fool before “I’m eighteen” However, as Cooper stated, you are “old enough to be drafted but not old enough to vote” if you listen to this proto-punk smash. Johnny Rotten began singing the song during his sex pistol audition a few years later. Cooper was a Muppet Show guest at the time.
