Once again, the bear climbed aboard the lifeboat, rising to its hind legs and facing the ship. Captain Reynolds couldn’t help but wonder—was it just hungry? Did it see him or one of his crew as potential prey? If hunger was the issue, perhaps offering some of their catch would help. They had already met their fishing quota, and if this animal was truly that desperate, sharing a few fish wouldn’t hurt. Without wasting another moment, Captain Reynolds turned and made his way swiftly to the storage room.
