Acquiring some fish for it
Reynolds stepped into the “ice box,” the nickname the crew had given to the chilly storage room where their fresh catch from the past few days was kept. He selected a large fish—one of the biggest—and made his way back to the edge of the ship. The bear’s continued vocalizations told him it was still there. With a practiced motion, Captain Reynolds tossed the fish toward the animal. But instead of eagerly catching or devouring it, the polar bear did something completely unexpected.
