If you ever find yourself in Charleston, South Carolina, you must eat the Double Tavern Burger at Little Jack’s Tavern. The executive chef, John Amato, doesn’t try to complicate things with this burger. This is as good as it gets, with seasoned mayo, American cheese, and a sesame seed bun.
